After a wile with Vanity 6. Denise Matthews Thought she could do better by herself and so she started her very own Solo Career, By the stage name of Vanity,But..., She didn't stray far from her Vanity 6 image. She intern Recorded an album full of sexual erotic songs entitled "Wild Animal". witch happens to be out of print. The 1st single off of her solo album was a nasty/fun song called "Pretty Mess"..., Which is about... getting seamen on her dress!!

Vanity 6-Nasty Girls

Vanity 6 was a group of three women assembled by Prince in the early 1980's. I guess you could call them the "Destiny's Child of the 80's". Ideally to Prince, the three women would perform in lingerie and sing sexual songs. The original trio recorded a few demos before Prince met Denise Matthews, a nude model and B-list Canadian movie actres, in January of 1982. Prince was so taken by Matthews’ charisma that he decided that she would be the perfect front-woman for his “Hookers” project (Which was the original name of the group).With Matthews’ arrival, Prince suggested that Matthews use the stage name “Vagina"She refused this idea, and instead took up the name “Vanity” in sted. and so began Vanity 6. Good luck finding any of their albums because they are all out of print!!! Lucky you have me to give you these rare/extremely hard to find tracks....You won't believe what i had to go through to get these.
